WE ARE A CIBTAC CERTIFIED STUDY CENTRE
This Course Is For You If…
You are currently in a teaching or training position (in-service). You don't need to have achieved the AET beforehand. You must be able to teach for at least 30 hours, be observed for at least three hours during the course, and complete a number of assignments.
The CIBTAC Certificate Level is 39 credits. 21 credits are mandatory units, and 18 credits are optional units selected by your chosen centre.
CIBTAC LEVEL 4 CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING UNITS
There are five mandatory units:
- Unit 1: Understanding the Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Training
- Unit 2: Planning to Meet the Needs of Learners In Education and Training
- Unit 3: Delivering education and training
- Unit 4: Assessing Learners in Education and Training
- Unit 5: Using Resources for Education and Training
Centre Selected Units
- Unit 6: Assess occupational competence in the work environment. Unit 2: Planning to Meet the Needs of Learners In Education and Training
- Unit 7: Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding
- Unit 8: Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment
Unit 6 forms one part (unit 2) of the Certificate in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
Evidence of teaching
To gain valuable teaching experience and enhance your skills with our Evidence of Teaching requirement. To accrue 30 teaching hours, you must actively be in a teaching or trainer role. These hours must be completed over the duration of your studies and MUST be observed by a qualified level 5 teacher.
Please do not apply for this level if you cannot fulfil this criterion, as it forms a crucial aspect of your Certificate in Education and Training.
